During her days with Sixpence None The Richer, vocalist Leigh Nash’s soothing, light sound seemed perfectly suited for that band’s mixture of pop, alternative and Christian music components. Seemingly overnight sensations, Sixpence None The Richer actually spent almost seven years playing tiny clubs and small churches before they exploded on the strength of “Kiss Me” and “There She Goes.”
