Yes, Everclear's video is based on Art's personal issues, but it is fantasy. All music videos and movies and music is fantasy, it is not reality. I think if people are worried about their children or other people not knowing the difference between reality and fantasy they need to teach their children the difference. Everything is left to interpretation with art such as music and movies. I think people need to grow up and if they don't like it don't watch it or listen to it. This is just the latest example in a long list including Madonna's concert cross, Kayne West's cover image with a crown of thorns, etc. It just feels like these are sacred symbols of religion. To use them to get a message across that something different than the gospel is just...well...wrong. I don't know. I'm glad O'Rilley called him out on a number of fronts.
