Jeremy Camp has never been one to hold back. “Beyond Measure” reveals a man secure enough to take risks, confident and willing, and it’s a thrill ride for us all. The project feels personal, as does much of his work, but it also contains a feeling of release, of exhilarating freedom. Camp displays more diversity in these twelve tracks and a willingness to experiment a bit, stretching out both vocally and musically on tracks like the muscular pop-rocker “Everything.” The good news is that it works; listeners will pick up on the energy in most of these new songs.
