It just wouldn’t be right to get too far into the new year without a “best of ” list. So here are The Wichita (Kan.) Eagle’s music reviewers’ lists of the top five albums of 2006. Drum roll, please… Brent Castillo’s picks: 1. Jars of Clay, “Good Monsters” (Essential) Jars of Clay found its mark on “Good Monsters.” The album showcases the band’s creativity and musical skills and is strong throughout. 2. Bebo Norman, “Between the Dreaming and the Coming True” (Essential) Teaming up on songwriting paid off for veteran Bebo Norman; “Dreaming” is one of his best releases.
