REVIEW: Switchfoot “Oh Gravity” (JMAN)

First, I’m just going to put something out there:  Whatever your thoughts are on Switchfoot, there is one thing that is hard for anyone to deny.  They are an incredible band!  Once again, I’ve found a CD that I had to literally “rip” out of my car player so that I could bring it in my office to review it. 

Social conscience is what rules the lyrical content of this record.  Songs like American Dream and Dirty Second Hands challenge the thought that we can’t live for a purpose bigger than us all.  Who said we can’t?  The talking heads of the media, maybe?  What about what God says? […read more]
