The stars of NASCAR and country music are in Nashville Friday night for a weekend event at the GEC.  The two have more in common that one may think. Like the country music industry, a majority of the people involved in NASCAR grew up going to church and have a deep faith in God.  More than two-thirds of NASCAR drivers attend pre-race worship services and it is the only professional sport that still offers an invocation before each contest.
